How would you describe your shop’s vibe?

The shop has the feel of an American traditional barbershop but also feels modern. We’ve always been focused on being a community-centric shop.

What’s the most popular cut in the shop at the moment?

Modern side part with a taper or skin fade is super popular right now.

Who is the favourite artist to spin in the shop?

We play everything from hip-hop to punk and hardcore to ska. Try to keep everyone guessing. We’ve also been known to throw on Creed or Nickelback (in an ironic way).

What’s the best tip for someone visiting the area?

Come hungry. So many great places to eat and drink. Central Flats and Taps, Wild Love Bakehouse, Steamboat Sandwiches and Oakwood BBQ are great stops near the shop.

What the best advice for clients before walking in?

Make an appointment. We always want to be able to guarantee your spot.

Who is the shop’s biggest barbering influence?

Shane Nesbitt is a name that resonates with all of the barbers in the shop as an influence.

What is your favourite shop (other than your own)?

High Point Barbershop (Richmond, Virginia) is the best. These dudes are the real deal. And they were like big brothers to us through the process of navigating opening a barbershop, always readily available to answer questions or give advice.
