Uppercut Deluxe is barber born and bred. Started in a garage in Brisbane, Australia, Uppercut Deluxe is now available in over 50 countries worldwide, all thanks to the demand for our pomades.
Uppercut Deluxe aims to create a holistic range of products that not only meet the needs of barbers, but also the everyday guy. Each head of hair is different, there’s no one-size-fits all approach and the UCD range reflects that.
Our approach to creating new products is relatively simple, we listen to barbers and users, we work with our chemists to perfect the product and ensure that we only ever work with tried and trusted suppliers. With ever-changing styles and trends, our range grows to reflect consumer demand but ensuring that our products always stay true to the principles of timeless style.
Ideas for new products start where the products get used - the barbershop and the bathroom. We never let ideas from the boardroom influence our product range.
Uppercut Deluxe likes to listen to ideas from barbers worldwide, asking about hair trends in their shops and what product they need to achieve it. Essentially, the UCD team is simply a sounding board for our global network of barbers. That’s how it started, and that’s how it will always be.
To bring the idea to life, we work with a team of world-class and industry-leading chemists that are based an hour away from our Australian HQ. The Uppercut Deluxe product team and the chemists join forces to develop samples that are then tested in Barbershops across the world. We don’t stop until it’s perfect.
Once the formula is signed off by our Ambassadors and founders, we begin to manufacture.
To ensure the quality of our products, we only work with suppliers that have earnt our trust and proved themselves to hold the same high standards that we swear by. Then the product hits the shelves of barbershops around the world.
The crew at Uppercut Deluxe never set out to create a line of 4 shampoos or 6 pomades that do the exact same thing.
