How to Style The Classic Slick Back
The Slick Back is a hairstyle that will never not be cool. It’s been worn by men for decades and can be suited to many different face shapes. So, what’s the key to nailing a tight slick back? Follow these steps and you’ll have it in no time.
Step 1: Prep
Make sure your hair is either towel dried or completely dry. Scoop out a dollop of Limited-Edition Deluxe Pomade; Resin & Rose and rub between your hands.
Step 2: Application
Comb your hair backward from your comb line so it’s ready for the pomade. Next, starting from the roots and making your way to the tips of the hair, apply the pomade evenly.
Step 3: Styling
First things first. Different combs create different textures. If you want a tight comb line, grab a CT9 Styling Comb. If you want a thick comb line, grab a CB11 Rake Comb.
Start from the roots at the forehead and comb over to the back of the head. Be sure to follow the comb closely with the palm of your hand to really lay the hair down.
Step 4: Wash
When you’re done sporting the Slick Back, simply rinse out the Limited-Edition Deluxe Pomade, Resin & Rose. As its water based, it makes for an easy clean up.
