The Hook Up has been a staple event in the Chopper Diary for an entire decade, and Uppercut Deluxe has been a proud supporter for the past few years. At the 2026 edition, not only did the sun set on the beautiful South Wales landscape, but also The Hook Up Chopper Show as they celebrated their 10th and final edition.
The Hook Up was started by James Bull with a simple mission in mind; Gather some of his friends and the UK’s finest choppers on a farm in his homeland and camp out for the weekend and drink a few (too many) beers.
Years later The Hook Up has grown to consecutively sell out to attendees from all over the UK, Europe and even USA. With an unreal curated collection of bikes to view in the main courtyard, and many more in the campground. It’s the social gathering of the year for the UK chopper scene.
With vendors from far and wide, including our good friends at Knuckleheads Barbershop (Newquay) who were dishing out haircuts, beard trims and Uppercut Deluxe goods, there was plenty to see and do. Great food, tattooing, kickstart competition, boxing ring for inflatable boxing, and a photography exhibition of The Hook Up over the years curated by Jonny Wilson.
While The Hook Up will be missed by many, it’s been a pleasure to work with the guys and take part in something so authentic and raw. Thanks for having us!
