Cut Across Europe: Tour Recap

In mid May 2026, our barber team from many corners of the world came together for the ‘Cut Across Europe Tour’. Here's a glimpse into what went down.

Starting in Amsterdam, the Cut Across Europe mission was simple. Uplift our barber community, collaborate with like-minded barbers and, most important of all, put some hair on the floor.

The tour brought barbers out to play from the UK (Chris Brownless, Charlie Venn), the EU (Ben Boyer, Fernando Isidro) and even the founder of Uppercut Deluxe himself, Steve Purcell, made a special trip to be a part of it. 

Haircut demonstrations, styling tips and tricks, a skate comp in Poland, BBQs, unlimited tapas and sampling the local beverage in every spot made for an unforgettable trip.

The tour route took the crew on a 4500+ mile journey via planes, trains, buses and any other form of transport that could be found (including a 17.8km electric scooter tour of Budapest).

Beginning in wonderful Amsterdam (Netherlands), through Berlin (Germany), Prague (Czech Republic), Łódź (Poland), Budapest (Hungary), Albi (France), Hossegor (France), Guadalajara (Spain), Vigo (Spain), then ending with a party to remember in Porto (Portugal).

Aside from 2 broken suitcases, one lost bag and a few hangovers, the tour was as smooth as could be thanks to the incredible hospitality of our Barber Family across the EU, and the meticulous planning of tour manager Sam Whitecross (MVP).
