How would you describe your shop’s vibe?
Old school classic barber shop with a modern feel. When you walk into the shop it feels like you’re walking into your friend’s house.

What’s your most popular cut at the moment?
Currently the side part pompadour is still very popular in our area.

Tell us something we don’t know about Uppercut Deluxe products?
I get the most volume out of the Easy Hold when using a blow dryer and a round brush.

What’s the best tip for someone visiting your area?
We’re a little rough around the edges but we have hearts of gold.

What the best advice for your client before walking in?
If you don’t know how to explain your haircut please bring a picture.

Who is your biggest barbering influence?
Don Botieri, he was the inspiration for Bostonian Barber Shop, this man was a barber for 60+ years in our community he believed in the traditional barber shop atmosphere where the barber shop feels like a second home to all generations that walk through the door.

Why did you get into Barbering?
I was in my early 20s working a dead end factory job. I never even considered barbering as a career. It was never my dream job. But when I got the push to actually go to Barbering school just to try it out I started getting really interested in it. Then once I got behind the chair and starting putting hair on the floor I found what I had been missing all those years. I’m one of the lucky ones that gets to say that they do what they love and make my dreams come true because of it. See more from the Bostonian crew here.
